During their visit to Japan, our project team traveled to Waseda University to observe demonstrations associated with the Moonshot Project, Hierarchical Motion Planning Framework for Realising Long-horizon Tasks.
The demonstrations provided a platform for meaningful discussions between researchers and representatives from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), fostering insights into potential improvements and directions for the ongoing work.
Following the demonstrations, Professor Vijayakumar joined a review meeting with fellow Principal Investigators and representatives from the funding agency to explore strategies for future-proofing the project and ensuring its long-term impact.
