Informatics: 60 years of history

This session described the new ideas invented by members of the various groups over the years.  In his talk, Professor Alan Bundy covered work on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science.  Professor Don Sannella discussed work on Computer Science and Professor Michael Fourman discussed the formation of the Division of Informatics in 1998. 

The three talks were followed by a panel session featuring perspectives from a number of people who worked at Edinburgh in the early days.
