Thanks to the dedication of our organiser and member, Aurora Constantin, the University of Edinburgh School of Informatics has established a collaboration with Skyscanner, resulting in the Skyscanner Accessibility and Inclusion Award. Our organiser and member, Aurora Constantin, who is leading the School of Informatics' Accessibility and Inclusion Working Group, has been central in promoting accessibility in both the content and delivery of our curriculum. She has recently established a collaboration with Skyscanner, one of the outcomes of which is the Accessibility and Inclusion Award. This award will be offered to UG4/MInf students whose projects act on the problems of the disabled communities through creative and practical solutions. Given the Computer Science Education group’s strong commitment to promoting accessibility and inclusion in CS education, we encourage all our members supervising UG4/MInf students this year to explore the possibility of applying for this prestigious award. If your project aligns with the eligibility criteria, don’t miss this opportunity!
