Six papers from ICSA have been accepted for CGO/HPCA 2017 Many congratulations to Marcelo Cintra, Chris Cummins, Christophe Dubach, Philip Ginsbach, Boris Grot, Cheng-Chieh Huang, Arpit Joshi, Rakesh Kumar, Hugh Leather, Vijay Nagarajan, Mike O'Boyle, William Ogilvie, Pavlos Petoumenos, Toomas Remmelg, Michel Steuwer, Stratis Viglas and our good friend Zheng Wang from Lancaster, who in various combinations have succeeded in having six papers accepted for the colocated events CGO 2017 and HPCA 2017. This is a terrific feat. The International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization (CGO) provides a premier venue to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the interface of hardware and software on a wide range of optimization and code generation techniques and related issues. The conference spans the spectrum from purely static to fully dynamic approaches, and from pure software-based methods to specific architectural features and support for code generation and optimization. The International Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture provides a high-quality forum for scientists and engineers to present their latest research findings in this rapidly-changing field. HPCA-23 will be held in conjunction with the 22nd ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming (PPoPP 2017) and the 15th International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization (CGO 2017).
