IPAB Workshop-07-3-2024 Title: How can model-based AI advance locomotion skills for legged characters? A computer graphics and robotics perspective. Abstract: In this talk, I will relate recent research in both the computer graphics and robotics communities and show how they are often inspiring each other, albeit not consciously. I'll discuss how the advent of massively parallel simulators is unifying the problems of robot and virtual character locomotion and present the challenges related to these approaches, with the hope of triggering an open discussion on the need for models in machine-learning-based approaches. Mar 07 2024 13.00 - 14.00 IPAB Workshop-07-3-2024 Steve Tonneau IF, G.03
