Strong of his previous CDT Director experience on two EPSRC-funded CDTs (Data Science and Pervasive Parallelism), Amos has extensive grant management, PhD training and student support experience. He is the Director of the CDT MLSystems.Luo MaiCDT Director of Training Dr Luo Mai is Lecturer in Data Centric Systems at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, and leads the Edinburgh Large-Scale Machine Learning Systems Group. He is Pi on a number of research projects and supervise PhD students. His main responsibility on the CDT MLSystems is the oversight of the training programme.Ajitha RajanCDT Student Development Chair Professor Ajitha Rajan is a Personal Chair of Software Testing and Verification at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh and leads the research group in Automated Software Testing. She is a Royal Society Industrial Fellow. As Student Development Chair for the CDT MLSystems, her main responsibility is to look after the student’s development. She is also the CDT EDI Champion.Mike O’BoyleCDT Director of Partnership Professor Mike O’Boyle is Personal Chair in Computer Science at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, Director of ARM Research Centre of Excellence and an EPSRC Established Career Fellow. Former director of the CDT in Pervasive Parallelism, he also has extensive experience in grant management and CDT leadership. He co-directs the CDT MLSystems with the particular task of looking after its partnerships, working jointly with the Business Development Executive to maintain links and identify further links.Stephanie RobinCDT Manager Stephanie has been a UKRI-funded doctoral training programme manager at the University of Edinburgh for the past 8 years, having previously managed the NERC E4 DTP, based in the School of GeoSciences. She brings her experience and expertise to the EPSRC CDT in Machine Learning Systems to lead on the design and organisation of its activities and coordinate the engagement of its stakeholders (students, academics and partners).Chunche (Jack) LeeCDT Administrator Chunche Lee is originally from Taiwan. Graduating with MSc Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh in 2023, he decided to stay in this beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh. He felt fortunate to be part of the CDT administrative team as a recent graduate because he could inform his work with his own student experience. Outside of work, he has also been involved in some side projects such as AI maturity survey design and chatbot conversation design.Matthew BurdgeBusiness Development Executive Matt brings extensive business development expertise across both industry and academia. He has successfully fostered impactful partnerships that bridge the gap between universities and industry, driving innovation and translating research into real-world applications. Throughout his career, Matt has held key roles, including Business Development Manager and Head of CPD & Consultancy at leading academic institutions.
