[2017] It is with immense sadness that we have learned of the passing of our dear colleague, Jon Oberlander. Image The School stopped in its tracks when the news of Jon's passing reached us. He was a driving force behind the Bayes Centre, a strong leader for everyone in the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation, an inspiring figure for all of us in the School of Informatics, and a visionary who promoted science engagement with non-scientific audiences.
