High Performance and Scalable Blockchain Consensus, Optimisation, and Applications

Abstract: 

As businesses adapt to an ever-changing new normal, extended collaboration and optimization beyond industrial organizations are essential for next-level growth. Blockchains are becoming a prevalent approach to enable trusted data exchange and workflow automation beyond organisation boundaries. This talk will help us understand the nature of blockchain technologies and several popular scenarios, such as decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and the metaverse. Furthermore, we will explore the challenges of current blockchain systems and introduce our research about blockchains: 1). scalable consensus framework for large-scale blockchain systems; 2). optimisation of blockchain consensus and system configuration for improved safety and performance.
