Institute-led PGR programmes and EUCLID applications

Applicants wishing to be considered for admission into the Informatics PGR programmes for the SeptemberJanuary or May intake are advised to apply as early as possible as these programmes are highly competitive. Applications for 2024/25 entry will open via the EUCLID application portal in October 2023.

Applicants should select their preferred start date and one that is achievable in terms of their current location and immigration status.

Applicants should be aware, however, that the start date actually offered will be aligned to the earliest standard starting time (from the list above) which allows them to complete any required immigration (ATAS, CAS and visa) and on-boarding tasks before the offered start date.

A range of funding opportunities are offered by the School, including funding from University scholarships, research councils, research grants, or scholarships provided by the School to specific PhD supervisors.

For some of these funding opportunities, such as the Informatics Global PhD Scholarship (IGPS), eligible applicants will be considered automatically as part of the School’s PGR selection process. Applicants wishing to be considered for the IGPS (for entry in the academic year 2024/25) must submit a programme application via the EUCLID scholarship portal within the following deadlines:

Round 1

EUCLID application deadline: Friday 24 November 2023
