Studying an undergraduate degree at the School of Informatics will provide you with a strong foundation in computer science. You will develop a solid scientific understanding of computer-based systems and gain the practical skills to analyse, design, implement and maintain them in any setting.

School of Informatics undergraduate degrees

Our 4 year degree structure (or 5 year for Informatics MInf) gives you a broader and more flexible education, allowing you to try a range of subjects before specialising in your honours years. Even if you know exactly what you want to do, you can study additional subjects and add depth to your education. By the time you graduate your breadth of knowledge will be highly prized by employers, giving you the best chance of success in your chosen field.
