When applying for the role of University Teacher, you must submit a sample of your written work. Here is some guidance on choosing what to submit. Please choose one of the following options to provide as a sample of work in your application: 1. A single short example of written or online materials (e.g., lab, assignment, tutorial material, exercises) that you have previously prepared for a class or other teaching situation. You may send a link if the materials are freely available online. Together with this, include a brief document (max 1 page) answering the following questions: a) What was the class or situation for which you prepared this material, and who were the students or other intended audience? Please include any other contextual information you feel is relevant. b) What are the learning objectives for this material? c) If not already clear from the sample, how might you assess (as part of an ongoing course) whether students achieved the learning outcomes? 2. If you do not have sample materials already prepared, please complete the form below, which asks you to plan a lesson of your choice and answer similar questions about it.
