A wide variety of scholarships are available. Many of these are full scholarships, paying tuition fees, additional programme costs, and a stipend to cover living expenses. The rest are partial scholarships, for example paying only tuition fees, or waiving additional programme costs, or making a contribution towards living expenses. Project related PhD studentships Most of our scholarship funding is not earmarked for specific areas. Edinburgh Doctoral College Scholarships (EDCS) The University of Edinburgh offers PhD scholarships for students starting their PhD research in the academic session 2024/25. DeepMind PhD Scholarships The School of Informatics and DeepMind have formed a partnership supporting students in their PhD studies in the field of Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence (AI).
